Dr Sebagh is a London-born luxury skincare house known for its clinical authority, cult cosmeceutical staples, and a prestige positioning built over two decades.

Built on the clinical authority of its founder, Dr Jean-Louis Sebagh - the French cosmetic doctor who pioneered the "Ageing-Maintenance" approach to non-surgical rejuvenation and introduced Botox to the UK. Since launching in 2005, the brand has built a cult following around cosmeceutical staples like the Deep Exfoliating Mask and Pure Vitamin C Powder Cream, with a client base spanning royalty, supermodels and Hollywood names. That clinical pedigree, paired with a discreet, prestige positioning, has kept Dr Sebagh a fixture of the luxury skincare category for two decades.

As competition in premium skincare intensified and acquisition increasingly shifted online, Dr Sebagh needed paid media that could convert its clinical credibility into new customers at scale, without cheapening the brand's exclusivity. At the same time, the volume and pace of creative demanded by paid social and search had outstripped what the in-house team could sustainably produce - a familiar bind for luxury beauty brands wary of over-exposure. It was this need to professionalise performance marketing while protecting brand equity that brought Dr Sebagh to Prospa.

Expanding Creative Capabilities for Luxury Beauty Brand

Expanding and Enriching the Creative Suite on Meta to Unlock New Audiences through Creative Testing

Dr Sebagh is a luxury, high-end beauty brand that prides itself on a minimalist aesthetic that oozes exclusivity. Meta has changed considerably over the last 12 months, and creative bravery matters more than ever to stay competitive. Our challenge was driving that innovation while protecting and building on the brand's existing equity, get this right, and the impact would be significant.

Maintaining Target CPA While Increasing Spend

With high price-point products and a deliberate shift toward new customer acquisition, CPA and CAC were always going to trend upward as spend increased. We needed to keep those metrics anchored to a clear KPI objective throughout. High-value new customers are invaluable to this brand, typically showing strong retention and loyalty once acquired, but that made holding the line on acquisition cost even more important, not less.

Too Much Focus was going toward Repeat Customers

Before working with us, a disproportionate share of paid media spend and effort was directed at repeat customers. We needed to reshape both the spend focus and the underlying objectives of the paid media function to drive higher volumes of new customers. This challenge works in tandem with Challenge 4, together, the two would go on to shape our entire creative approach.

Navigating a Long Sales Cycle Driven by High Price Point and Consideration

The high price point of the product range makes this a genuinely considered purchase. Getting content strategy and messaging right across that extended consideration period was critical to success. This also created an attribution challenge: with new customers often taking longer than seven days to convert, many fall outside the standard attribution window, making clear measurement harder and wider data sources essential.

How We Did It

Expanding Creative across angles and concepts

The Prospa team worked through our creative research process, clearly understanding what motivates new customers to purchase this product. With the nature of the product, there are some really clear pain points that we could delve into and the creative answered the pain points. Getting really deep into each one and being very intentional with the messaging allowed us be very direct, working perfectly with Meta’s Andromeda.

Introduction of UGC to expand formats

Diversification across formats was a key solution that enabled account and new customer growth. Once we clearly understood the pain points and motivators, we needed to spread this across different formats and angles. The nature of these products aligned with UGC formats so well, although we needed to be extremely careful with the type of creators we worked with to properly represent the brand.

Using key data sources such as GA and Store Hero, understand the genuine consideration journey

Spending time understanding the acquisition journey of customers and lining our creative strategy process with this was a huge unlock. Knowing this alongside attribution has been key to our success, so we can properly nurture customers through the consideration cycle.

Worked closely with the brand team on product

There was a high performing best selling product, which is the Exo C Booster. This has some really clear pain points and solutions which enabled us to create really intentional and strong messaging. Budget and resource allocation to this gave us great momentum and really drove volumes of new customers.
