Hair Syrup is a beauty brand that boasts a range of results-driven, natural pre-wash hair oil treatments to provide solutions for a range of scalp & hair concerns. Hair Syrup was a brand founded by Lucie Macleod and quickly took the beauty industry by storm, gaining virality on TikTok and then establishing themselves in large retailers like Beauty Bay, Boots and Superdrug.
To develop a profitable content strategy to acquire new customers and maximise retention efforts to increase repeat purchases and lifetime value.
First, we analysed the unit economics of Hair Syrup and understood their breakeven CPA targets across each platform. We then analysed the business, their products and their content in order to produce a series of creatives for the Paid Social campaigns, which allowed us to run tests around bundles to increase AOV at first purchase. We implemented Paid Search campaigns that scaled acquisition efforts across Google through a blend of PMax, Search and Shopping, and attacked different global markets with non-branded campaigns. To enrich the relationship with the customer and to drive repeat purchases, we introduced a targeted retention strategy. We built out complex CRM automations that focused on replenishment and re-engagement of their products. Whilst designing aesthetic campaigns that we sent out to segments of their database in Klaviyo.
